Three steps to a place

Submit the registration

Fill in the form below. It takes about 15 minutes; please have your bank details and vaccination record ready.

Get to know us

We will contact you and invite you for a meeting. You are also welcome to visit our open day first.

Place allocation

Your child is added to our waiting list. We will inform you personally as soon as places are allocated.

Maternelle or primary school?

From age 3

École Maternelle

  • Kindergarten following the French curriculum, with bilingual care
  • Publicly funded under KiBiz since 1 September 2024; fees are handled by the City of Bonn
  • Please also register your child in the City of Bonn’s KiTa NET so they are placed on the waiting list straight away
  • We recommend registering your child as early as possible. Children can start from their 3rd birthday
Ages 6 to 10

Primary school

  • State-recognised independent school (Ersatzschule), grades 1 to 4
  • Your child should have basic French, for example from one year of Maternelle or a stay in a French-speaking country. This does not apply to native French speakers
  • The admissions committee meets in February at the latest
  • Admission during the school year is possible if places are available
French citizens: you can apply for a French government school grant (bourse scolaire). Application forms are available from the school office from January. More about the bourse scolaire
