More than 6,000 books in German, French and English, and new reading material to take home every week.

At the École de Gaulle-Adenauer, reading and literature have a firm place well beyond the classroom. Every week, children take new books home from the school library, and the Maternelle classes have their own reading corner there too.
The library is essential to trilingual education. Reading, alone or with parents, sparks a love of books, improves reading skills and strengthens written and spoken language.
Each child may borrow three books per week, one in each language. For parents, it is a lovely opportunity to share a piece of school life with their child, by reading aloud or talking about the book.
The library currently holds more than 6,000 titles in German, English and French and grows every year. Parent volunteers help with lending, shelving and cataloguing, strengthening the bond between families and the school.
